Hello, from Super Swimming with Kristen Bowers! This is my thirteenth year teaching the wonderful residents of McKay’s Mill. As a teacher I’m patient, fun, skilled and teach safety first. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and abilities. Lessons are 45 minutes long (other company's private lessons are typically 30 minutes) allowing for more progress per lesson and/or more parent interaction. Private lessons allow for individually targeted instruction and attention which can help swimmers to progress farther with more confidence. If swimmers are fearful, we can take smaller steps and build good skills before stretching what they are comfortable with. I don't force students in the water - but I do provide incentives they can earn! For example Hot Wheels cars, small puzzles, Galactic Slime, mini stuffed animals, $1 bill. (I don't give out candy/unhealthy food.)

Learning to swim is an essential safety skill that lasts a lifetime, but can also be a lot of fun!

General time periods available are:

Mon. and Thurs. afternoon/evening

Wed. and Sat. morning/afternoon

To sign up for times, sign in to your account and choose times that are available. If you are new, register with your information on this website and you will receive a login email to the website/scheduling portal. You can choose your best times and also change them up to 48 hours before the scheduled lesson time. If it less than 48 hours but before 24 hours, half of the lesson cost would be owed. Less than 24 hours, the whole cost would be owed. Sickness is excused. Further information about the portal is on the website page by that title.

4 Private Lessons: $220

4 Semi-Private Lessons: $240

Single Private Lessons for Returning Students

and the cost after 4 lessons: $55

Single Private Lessons for New students: $60

Single Parent/Child Coaching Sessions, Private: $60

Semi-Private Lessons (groupings done by clients): $65 total

Group of 3: $75.  Group of 4: $80 

(Groupings done by clients. Must be at similar levels and be safe in the water OR have adult in the water with them.)

Two family members, 60min total (Limited availability): $75 total

Three family members, 90min total: $110
